When you crank it up in front of a good tube amp, it can be just the right pedal to push your amp into sweet saturation. 

Fulltone intended the Fat Boost to boost your signal without introducing unwanted coloration, maintaining the natural tone of your guitar. While it's excellent as a clean boost, the Fat Boost can also be used to overdrive the front end of an amplifier, adding a touch of grit to your sound. On the FB-3, the controls are straightforward: Volume sets the overall output, and Drive controls the amount of grit. From there, Bass and Treble allow you to fine tune the EQ to your liking. This 2009 Fulltone FB-3 Fat Boost shows some scuffs and signs of use, but it functions 100% as it should. It is missing one of the thumb screws, and it includes its original box and a Fulltone sicker.
