This listing is for Houston Red Princess Air Plant and is popular for its thick silver blue foliage and gorgeous deep red pink bloom. They tend to grow larger than other similar blooming types. All of our plants ship green/not in bloom however, when available this item will ship with bloom.

These plants are low maintenance, making them a great choice for people who are new to indoor plants.

They need regular daily indirect or filtered sunlight (so fine for desks, shelves, bathrooms or bedrooms). A weekly water is all they require - although you can always give them a mist in between if they look a little dry.

Air plants prefer regular air circulation, so we suggest open terrariums rather than the kind with lids.

We stock an air plant fertilizer which is ideal for this plant - check out the 'Supplies' section of our shop to see more. We also have a wide range of fillers which you can use as a base in any plant pot you might use. Orchid bark is a great choice for this!

Possibly the best sunscreen on the US market

I'm a self-confessed sunscreen snob. I love trying new formulas, and I came to the conclusion years ago that US formulas aren't usually for me. We haven't had a new filter approved by the FDA since the last millennium, and our products reflect that. I can't tell you how many times I spent $40+ on 1.7oz of sunscreen that I ended up hating before I switched to mostly Korean sunscreens; and most of the US sunscreens I like can be described as "good...for a US formula." In short, I didn't have high hopes for this, and I was very pleasantly surprised. This is a very, very good sunscreen even among non-US formulas. It's lightweight, doesn't make my oily skin shiny, and dries down entirely so it doesn't feel tacky or slimy. I can layer over and over throughout the day without pilling or streaks. It also comes in a huge tube for a very low price. The only possible downside is that it's fragranced, which isn't a deal breaker for me. I wish they still sold the 3oz facial version because it's travel-friendly, but from what I can tell, it's the same formula. Try this, especially if you hate thick, heavy, shiny sunscreens. Unless you can't do fragrance, I think you will be very happy with it.

This is the most economical option for those looking for a very effective but invisible and light sunscreen. I found it very easy to apply and rub into the skin and within a few seconds it had been absorbed into my skin creating a dry and invisible UV ray barrier that I was barely aware of. The two pack was 12 ounces for $15.95—or about $1.30 per ounce—a fraction of the cost of some of the boutique and facial moisturizing sunscreens that will set you back as much as $20.00 per ounce. I use this product often as I rock climb outside here in Las Vegas once a week all through the summer months.
