Building off of the original Dark Star, this latest, larger, and expanded version of the OBN reverb is a marvel of moody, harrowed reverberation with functions old and new.

Expanding on the first Old Blood Noise Dark Star, this new version punches well above its weight class in a sleek, celestial-patterned casing. This Dark Star builds up its effect interface arrangement with new controls and parameters to serve players new and familiar to the Dark Star experience.

At its core, the Dark Star is a reverb that leans into the darker sides of the effect. The three-mode toggling of the original Dark Star is absent from this model, as Old Blood Noise pursued a more holistic order of operations with each of the previous Dark Star's three reverb modes present from the get-go in a single proverbial cauldron of sound. Dedicated dials across the Dark Star's face allow for mixing in all of the iconic pitch-shifting, bit-crushing, and delaying sweetness the original Dark Star is known for.

The Dark Star goes beyond its established sounds with new parameters to tinker and play with like Filter, Multiply, and Spread.
