This is the authentic, U.S. Government Issued (USGI) shelter half, a cornerstone of military field gear designed for versatility and rugged durability. Unlike modern commercial reproductions, these halves are crafted from heavy-duty, water-repellent cotton duck canvas, built to withstand harsh environments and extended field use.
Product Specifications -
• Material: Heavyweight 13 oz. cotton duck canvas (flame-resistant and mildew-resistant treated).
• Color: Classic Olive Drab (OD Green).
• Components: This listing is for one (1) shelter half
*Note: Two halves are required to snap together to form one complete "Pup Tent."

• Versatility: Beyond a tent, a single half can be used as a:
• Ground cloth or moisture barrier.
• Improvised lean-to or windbreak.
• Emergency litter or gear cover.
• Breathable Durability: The natural canvas allows for better airflow than synthetic materials, reducing condensation while maintaining excellent wind resistance.
• Authentic Surplus: Built to Mil-Spec standards, ensuring a level of craftsmanship and material weight rarely found in civilian outdoor gear.
