12 cards per pack, 24 packs per box, 12 boxes per case
The theme of Set 8 is “Gathering of Saiyans”
A powerful set full of strong characters as all five Leaders are Saiyans!
All “Saiyan” Leader Cards!
All Leader Cards in this set are Saiyans!
SR★ (Alt-Art ver. of SR) upgraded from Set 7, and the number of SRs continues to increase!
To enhance collectability, a big upgrade of "SR★ (SR Alt-Art Ver.)" is underway!
-Not an anime drawing, but a new brushcolored illustration!
-Textured Gold Foil finish added!
The number of Alt-Art card types is increased! This will be our base policy going forward!
Including Alt-Art versions of "Super Combo" cards, essential for any deck, continues! (5 types in total)
There are AltArt versions of some low-rarity cards too! Sold as Display
Gameplay-wise... 2 new major game mechanics are introduced
- New game mechanic 1: replicates signature moves from the beloved Anime series within the card game!
The “Evolve” mechanic that first appeared in Set 7 will be upgraded!?
A new mechanic will recreate the symbol of strength in Dragon Ball and change the gameplay dramatically!
- New game mechanic 2: opens up a new way to use energy markers
Place the energy markers under other cards!?
For a more “Dragon Ball-like” gaming experience!
(We also anticipate an increase in demand for energy markers in the market.)
As a 2nd anniversary special, this set features exceptionally powerful lineup that will push "DBSCG FW" to the next level!
Card-wise... A “★★”-filled 2nd anniversary special!
★ ★ all-in 1: the first “Leader★★” appears!
The first L★★ in FW is here!
By combining existing processing technologies, we have achieved a design that surpasses L★. Due to its low inclusion rate, it can become a chase card.
★★ all-in 2: three types of SCR! Plus all with ★★!
Set 9 has three types of SCR cards, all of which have ★★!
The illustrations have a unique touch, not only for players, but also for collectors who want a design that stands out.
