Sustainability Guidelines:
We will continue our plastic free potluck tradition this year at Vallem Vaari Farms. Its the time of the year our garden friends get together with yummy home made food in a farm.
Every one needs to bring their own reusable cutlery, water in reusable bottles, chair/blanket to sit. No special arrangements for water with everyone bringing their water from home. When everyone does it, its easy to manage.
There will be no trash bag in the event and any minimal trash produced has to be taken back by the owners and managed at their homes.
Please bring only sufficient food for your part who is attending and share with people you meet.
We will have below activities:
1) Bouncy house for kids
2) We will pick henna leaves from the stems, grind the paste and apply on hands. No take away of henna.
3) Walk around the farm and enjoy sunflower garden and take pictures.
4) Enjoy pot luck lunch. No heavy coordination for items. Just bring lunch for yourself and share with people.
5) We will have farm cooking. Everyone can join in cooking to help.
