Memento Mori: Genesis is Adrian Valenzuela's reimagining of the widely celebrated design. With Humble beginnings as a self-challenge to re-create the brand using only 3D software, this redesign takes the familiar low poly skull into a fully rendered 3-dimensional masterpiece.
While in earlier iterations the poly's were drawn with their own unique color, this recreation uses a collection of glass polys and painted with a photorealistic light source to create the broad spectrum of colors that makes the Memento Mori series unique. I’ve been getting into more natural skincare lately, especially beef tallow products, so I wanted to try a sunscreen like this. I like that it uses tallow along with zinc oxide for protection.
The texture is smooth and not overly greasy, and it blends in better than I expected for a mineral sunscreen. It leaves my skin feeling moisturized. I’ve used it on both my face and body, and it feels comfortable throughout the day.
It’s also been good with my daughter’s skin, even though she has skin problems, which has been a big plus for us.
