First night camping? Our designers have developed this simple and easy to pitch 2 person tent. An accessible tent that passes all our durability and waterproofing tests. The free-standing dome structure enables you to move it once it has been assembled, to find the best location.

NUMBER OF USERS: 2 person

NUMBER OF ROOMS: 1 room

ASSEMBLY TYPE: Assembly with poles

WEATHER CONDITIONS: Mild weather

RAIN: Heavy rain

WIND: LIGHT WIND

PITCHING/STRIKING

Standard dome assembly: the bedroom is pitched with the poles, and the flysheet is then fastened on top. Reverse procedure when dismantling. If it is windy it is advisable to attach the guy ropes that are provided in the tent bag.

MATTRESS COMPATIBILITY

We recommend you use the tent with the self-inflating or trekking mattress measuring a maximum of 65 cm wide. We do not recommend the use of inflating mattresses above 6 cm deep in this tent due to the reduction in living space and resistance to condensation.

VENTILATION

1 upper rear air vent. Correctly position the lateral tent pegs to maintain a space between the flysheet and the ground all around the tent. The good air circulation between the bedroom and the flysheet will limit the natural phenomenon of condensation.

WATERPROOFING

All Quechua tents are validated in a laboratory (whole tent under 200 L/hour for 3 hours), as well as in the field. (2000mm PU-coated polyester flysheet, 120g/sqm polyethylene groundsheet, all seams sealed using thermobonded tape). A breathable polyester bedroom under the flysheet means you don't come into contact with the condensation that forms naturally on the inside of the flysheet.

WIND RESISTANCE

We test all of our tents in a wind tunnel on a rotating table to expose each side of the tent to the wind. A well-assembled tent with all the guy ropes properly deployed around the tent should remain habitable with a wind speed measured at 40 km/h near the ground (Force 5).

ENVIRONMENTAL APPROACH: WHY IS MY PRODUCT GREY?

Textile dyeing requires a lot of water but also produces waste water from the dye baths. To reduce this impact on the environment, we use only one mass-dyed yarn out of every two (Bi-ton), reducing our consumption and our impact on water. So that's why your product is grey.

THE PRODUCT CONTAINS: - 1 bedroom - 1 waterproof flysheet - 2 poles - 7 tent pegs - 4 guy ropes

COMPOSITION: Main fabric : 75.0% Polyester (PES), Main fabric : 25.0% Polyethylene (PE) Pole : 100.0% Glass - Fibre (FG)

Great book perfect for history lovers
Format: School & Library Binding
This book is perfect for people who love history in general. Very interesting topic in that it deserts why different cultures became more prominent than others over time. I’m still getting through it, but wanted to write a positive review because I’m enjoying it so much.

Makes you think!
Format: School & Library Binding
Jared Diamond’s Guns, Germs, and Steel is all about figuring out why some societies became super powerful while others didn’t. His main idea is that geography and the environment had a huge impact. Basically, places with good crops and animals to farm had an easier time growing and becoming stronger. The book mixes history, science, and geography in a way that’s pretty easy to follow, even though it covers a lot. Some people think Diamond focuses too much on geography and doesn’t consider enough other factors, but it definitely makes you think differently about history and why the world is the way it is today. It’s a really interesting read if you’re into learning about why things turned out the way they did.

Great book
The narrator possesses a refined and compelling voice, and the author's writing style stimulates the mind. The author uses a tremendous amount of detail to avoid unnecessary/inaccurate generalizations and intentional/unintentional misinterpretations. However, the author executes this feat without allowing the reader to feel lost in mundane facts. I enjoyed the author's use of rhetorical questions to explore the viewpoints of persons who oppose his assertions. Overall, an informative and invigorating read. I highly recommend this book for anyone who has ever asked, "Why did certain people and cultures end up with so much, while others ended up with so little".

Guns, Germa and Steel Audio Version
A great audio adaptation of a great book. I listened to it on my commute to work. I have the actual book, but had no time to sit down and read it. If you are very busy, audio versions of books really work well.
