About this item
- Safflower is a small, white seed that is high in protein and fat. Also known as false saffron, safflower (Carthamus tinctorius) is a proud member of the thistle family. Traditionally, the crop was grown for its seeds, and used for coloring and flavoring foods, in medicines, and making red (carthamin) and yellow dyes, especially before cheaper aniline dyes became available. For the last fifty years or so, the plant has been cultivated mainly for the vegetable oil extracted from its seeds
- HOW TO GROW: Mix Manure with soil (30:70),and this will help in germination of seeds. Care needs to be taken to see that the soil is clean from any weed or insect. Open the seed packet on a sheet of paper and put the seeds into the prepared soil to half inch of depth. While watering, sprinkling water through a sprinkler or manually using your hands. Germination may take place 10-18 days. Then you may transplant the seedlings to various pots or desired areas.

They are very hard to tear up! Definetly for aggressive chewers!!!

Dogs love them!!! My 70lb bernese mountain/hound dog mix loves them!!! Taking her long time to chew through them!!! Unlike other chews which would have already been destroyed!!!!

Durability
Color: Blue
My Princess loves playing and chewing on these. She alternates between all 3. It keeps her busy from chewing on my slippers. Very durable toys.
