Large-area protection and free-standing functionality
The side awning is designed to be used freestanding, offering maximum flexibility and comfort outdoors. With two support poles included in the scope of delivery, the awning offers stable support and protection even in heavy rainfall. So you are perfectly prepared for your next outdoor adventure, whether on the beach, in the forest or in the mountains.
Lightweight & robust
Despite its low weight of 18.95 kg, the 270° Horizon awning is characterized by a robust frame that can withstand the elements. The balance between lightness and stability makes it the ideal accessory for your vehicle.
Dimmable lighting
The dimmable LED lights integrated into the arms of the awning are a special highlight and provide pleasant lighting in the evening hours.The LED lights are operated using a power bank (not included), which can be conveniently stored in the side pocket provided. You can easily operate the LED with a standard power bank – provided it supplies 5 volts / 3 amps and has an output power between 15 and 22.5 watts.
Practical accessories available
The new 270° Horizon awning can be supplemented with practical accessories: the awning can be fitted with side walls, which are supplied with additional support poles, to create generous space or even more protection from bad weather conditions. Also available is the new organizer, which offers practical storage space for smaller items and keeps your outdoor equipment handy and organized.
Mounting on the roof rack
The side awning is compatible with the ExRoof roof rack, but also with roof racks from other suppliers. An awning bracket is included in the scope of delivery (as shown on the picture above). The screws can be moved horizontally as required and adjusted to fit your roof rack perfectly. You can find a sketch of the universal awning bracket supplied here. Installation on roof racks with a T-slot, which are mounted on the roof rails, is also possible. However, the T-bolts for this type of roof rack are not included in the scope of delivery. If you want to mount the awning on a horntools ExRoof roof rack, we also have an ExRoof awning bracket in our range, which can be used to screw the awning to the side as well as from above.
