The Coppia tandem features everything you love about recumbent cycling, but gives you twice as much fun! Our goal was to build a beautiful recreational/touring tandem with lower seats for easy riding, but large wheels for a smoother, faster ride. Mission accomplished!

You've come to expect bespoke attention from Bacchetta, and the Bacchetta Coppia delivers with choices in top-notch components from Velocity USA, Rohloff, SRAM, and TRP. Choose both seats - for those that want comfort in the most upright position (ideal for the stoker), choose the classic Recurve seat. If you want to recline a little more and save 1.5 pounds at the same time, the B3 seat will work perfectly for you. The captain can choose from the comfortable B3 seat or the sportier Euromesh seat that is a pound lighter. Finally, choose your favorite color to make the bike truly yours.

The Bacchetta Coppia can be loaded up with a variety of accessories to meet your riding needs. Carry up to four panniers with the Coppia Rear Rack and/or the Terracycle EasyReacher under seat rack. Kickstands, fenders and mirrors are readily available. And for shorter, day rides, Bacchetta offers a variety of bags.

We charge a flat rate of $369 for shipping via freight in the Continental US. Shipping to Canada is a flat $629, but does not include and duty and fees you may be charged.

The bike comes about 75% fully assembled - it will be broken in half and you will need to put it back together, including installing the timing chain and installing the seats. Finally, adjust the seat/handlebars to your liking and go for a ride with your favorite person!
