Inspired by the 1939 success of Finnish troops fighting off Russia while on skis, the 10th Mountain Division was officially designated at Camp Hale Colorado on July 13, 1943. The elite group of soldiers specialize in mountain, rough terrain and cold-weather warfare. The 10th Mountain Division is the only unit in the Army of its size trained in specialized tactics such as skiing, mountaineering, cold-weather survival, rock climbing, and snowshoeing and high altitude survival.When first established, to recruit new soldiers the Army used the civilian organization, the National Ski Patrol to bring in top-notch skiers for the division. It is the only Army division to do so. These new soldiers ate, breathed and lived skiing and after serving in the military, many veterans of the 10th Mountain Division became an integral part in developing the popularity of recreational and vacation skiing after World War II.
The goggles come in a leather-like brown vinyl case. Very few are marked as being made by Foster Grant with the majority being produced by CPC. Though the cases seem brittle and quite worn, the stitching is still tight and intact. The snap closure is still stiff and functioning properly.
The full metal-framed eyepieces have green-tinted glass lenses that reduce glare. Now delicate with age, OD green canvas surrounds the eyepieces to protect the peripheral of your eyes. Even though they need a good cleaning with soap and water, the glass lenses are in fairly good condition with minor scratches.

Perfect Lightweight Sheets for Sensitive Hot sleepers

These sheets are soft, thin, and absolutely perfect for me. I have advanced CRPS and erythromelalgia, so I deal with severe nerve burning and heat sensitivity and cannot tolerate being overheated at all. I keep our AC between 56–64 degrees constantly, and since our studio is small, it usually stays around 61–63.
These sheets have been a lifesaver for sleep. They are lightweight, breathable, and don’t trap heat, which helps me avoid extreme flare-ups and the intense burning pain I deal with. I'm bedridden so I need to be comfortable. They feel comfortable against my skin and don’t worsen my symptoms when I’m already in a lot of pain and look nice, wash nicely.
For the price, they are also a great value. I’m genuinely grateful to have found something that helps me rest more comfortably. Will be buying more for us and gifts.

Great Yard Helper!
So easy to use and affordable! This edger is a great time saver, easy to operate, and relatively easy to adjust although you may need a pliers or screwdriver to help with the adjustment levels, but its not difficult. I would have given this 5 stars but just one thing that is a sticking point for me is I wish this had its own stand or hanger because of its odd shape, it doesn't necessarily balance upright too well. It’s long and the guide wheel in the front sticks out. So, it is always awkward to get it tidy in the garage when not in use. Now maybe this is what it's like for landscapers…I’m not a professional. Just a homeowner doing my own upkeep. With what this costs, I’ll figure it out, and is worth the money.
