WHY DETER FUNGUS GNATS?
Fungus gnats are one of the most common soil breeding pests indoor gardeners face.
Not only is having them flying around indoors unpleasant, they can also be detrimental to plant health. If present in large enough numbers fungus gnats can damage plant roots and stunt growth, particularly in seedlings and young plants.
If you have an active infestation, we recommend Super Ninja's Fungus Gnat Sticky Traps for rounding up gnats that are already airborne. Gnat Off will stifle larvae still present in the soil and help prevent repeat infestations.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Apply a 1-2cm thick layer of Gnat Off to the surface of your potting mix. Press down to help create a soil barrier. Top off as needed.
Just note that using a barrier like this may cause your soil to retain more moisture than usual, so monitor this and adjust your watering accordingly.
