Aglaonema 'Beauty' - Chinese Evergreen

Aglaonema 'Beauty,' commonly known as Chinese Evergreen, is a popular indoor plant known for its lush, variegated foliage with shades of green, silver, and sometimes hints of pink or red. Its attractive leaves and low maintenance make it a perfect choice for both beginners and experienced gardeners. Reaching a height of 30–60 cm, Aglaonema 'Beauty' is well-suited for indoor spaces, adding a touch of elegance and colour to home and office interiors.

Position

Chinese Evergreen thrives in low to medium indirect light, making it ideal for indoor settings with limited sunlight. While it can tolerate lower light conditions, it performs best in bright, indirect light for optimal leaf colouration. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves.

Growth

This slow-growing, compact plant typically reaches a height and spread of 30–60 cm. Its dense, bushy form and colourful foliage make it an excellent choice for tabletops, shelves, and floor placements in shaded corners.

Planting Guide

Aglaonema 'Beauty' prefers well-draining, slightly acidic potting soil. Choose a pot with drainage holes to prevent root rot. Repotting every 2–3 years, ideally in spring, will help refresh the soil and accommodate its root growth.

Plant Care

Water moderately, allowing the top 2–3 cm of soil to dry out between waterings. Overwatering can cause root rot, so reduce watering frequency in winter. Aglaonema 'Beauty' enjoys humidity, so occasional misting or placement near a humidifier can help maintain healthy foliage. Fertilise once every 2–3 months during the growing season (spring and summer) with a balanced, water-soluble fertiliser at half strength.

Not bad
I think my dog has special chewing Powers because he pretty much started chipping away at that bone on the first day with particles of the bone fragmenting so I had to take it away because I wasn't sure if he ingested any of that. It's definitely chewable. But I think he's next level. But for a regular tour or mild chewe I think this would be perfect

TOO REAL
Sometimes I can't tell if this is a real stick or a fake stick. I think my dog can tell, but I cannot. But what really defines a stick? It's length, it's shape, it's wood? Are any of us a real stick? I hope this review brings some comfort to the lost and lonely.

Chew stick
Bone is heavy and smells good. For heavy chewers like my pups, it lasts 3 weeks but, she loves it.

Holds up really well under an extreme chewer
Size: Dumbbell
My dog is only 18 lbs , he can chew through anything. This little not so little chew toy has held up really well and keeps him occupied... although the blue rubbery part does break off in little tiny pieces it is not breaking off in big chunks, it has lasted more than 2 months at this point. He has been able to put some dents and dings in the plastic Center, but again considering he destroys everything in a matter of moments I'm very pleased with this. Quality is good, and he likes to carry it around the house... also found out if he turns it it makes a funny little noise which keeps them entertained. Perfect size for my dogs. The wait is Hefty enough that he knows he's carrying it but not so big and weighted that he doesn't enjoy it.

Won’t buy again
Size: Tripod, Size: Tripod
It started out great. But then it came apart and my puppy almost swallowed the piece that makes noise. Otherwise, it’s been a good brand of bones. Just not this particular one. The end unscrews and came apart. Not great!
