VIVOSUN AeroWave D4 4" Grow Tent Clip Fan: Compact Design with Adjustable Hook

Struggling with inconsistent airflow and humidity issues in your grow tent? The VIVOSUN AeroWave D4 4" Grow Tent Clip Fan delivers targeted air circulation exactly where you need it. This compact solution prevents hot spots, strengthens plant stems, and maintains optimal growing conditions by keeping air moving throughout your canopy.

Designed specifically for indoor growing environments, the AeroWave D4 features three adjustable speed settings reaching up to 3500 RPM. This gives you precise control over air movement intensity to match your plants' needs at every growth stage. The built-in memory function saves your preferred speed setting, so even if power is interrupted, the fan automatically resumes at your last selected speed without manual intervention.

The standout feature of this grow tent fan is its versatile positioning system. The detachable, angle-adjustable hook provides secure mounting to tent poles while allowing you to direct airflow in multiple directions. Choose from four distinct mounting methods: rest it on flat surfaces, clamp to poles, suspend from ceilings, or use magnetic attachment (requires separate iron plate on tent exterior). The adjustable front cover knob gives you control over airflow patterns—loosen it for broad, sweeping circulation or tighten for concentrated, directional air movement to specific plant zones.

At just 35 dBA maximum noise output, the AeroWave D4 runs whisper-quiet while delivering effective air circulation. The space-efficient 4-inch design fits seamlessly into grow tents of all sizes without consuming valuable growing space. Optimized for VGrow Smart Grow Box systems, this fan integrates with VIVOSUN App control for convenient remote management (please note: not compatible with GrowHub E42A/E25 models).

FAQs

What size grow tent is this fan best suited for? +

The AeroWave D4 4" clip fan works well in small to medium grow tents, typically up to 3x3 or 4x4 feet. For smaller tents (2x2 to 2x4), a single fan provides adequate circulation. For larger spaces or more comprehensive coverage, consider using multiple fans positioned strategically throughout the canopy at different heights.

Is this fan compatible with the VIVOSUN App? +

Yes, the AeroWave D4 is optimized for VGrow Smart Grow Box systems and can be controlled remotely through the VIVOSUN App. This allows you to adjust fan speeds and settings from your smartphone. Please note that it is not compatible with GrowHub E42A or E25 controllers.

How does the integrated memory function benefit my setup? +

The memory function automatically saves your last used speed setting. If your power goes out or the fan gets unplugged, it will automatically restart at the same speed when power is restored. This eliminates the need to manually readjust settings and ensures consistent environmental conditions for your plants without intervention.

Which mounting option is most popular for grow tents? +

The detachable hook mounting method is the most popular choice for grow tents because it attaches securely to standard tent poles and offers angle adjustment for directing airflow. This method provides stability while allowing you to reposition the fan as your plants grow. The magnetic option is also popular when paired with an iron plate placed on the tent's exterior.

Will this fan disturb my plants during their dark cycle? +

No, the AeroWave D4 operates extremely quietly at a maximum of 35 dBA—comparable to a quiet whisper. This low noise level won't disturb your plants during their dark cycle or create any issues in home growing environments. The whisper-quiet operation makes it ideal for residential use where noise concerns are important.

What do I need for the magnetic mounting option? +

For magnetic mounting, you'll need to place a separate iron plate (not included with the fan) on the outside of your grow tent wall where you want to position the fan. The fan's magnetic backing will then secure through the tent fabric to the metal plate. All other mounting options (flat surface, pole clamp, ceiling suspension) work with the included hardware.

How do I adjust between wide and focused airflow? +

Simply adjust the front cover knob on the fan. Loosening the knob allows the fan head to rotate freely, creating dispersed airflow that circulates throughout your entire grow space. Tightening the knob locks the fan in position for a focused air stream to specific areas. This flexibility helps you adapt airflow patterns as plants develop and their ventilation needs change.

Where should I position the fan for best results? +

Position the fan to create gentle air movement across the top of your plant canopy, avoiding direct, strong airflow onto plants which can cause stress. Aim for oscillating or sweeping coverage rather than a constant direct stream. Many growers position one fan above the canopy for general circulation and add a second fan at mid-level or below to strengthen stems and ensure air reaches lower growth areas.

MUFON vs. Stephen Greer
Format: Paperback
How it relates- this book was once sold (now out of stock) by mufon on their website- out of the many books that could've been chosen. I see a lengthy review by an obvious Stephen Greer fan. I, too, have seen his films. I was also once a member of Mufon in which paying that membership fee allowed me the extra little bit of privilege to attend web seminars/ community zoom meetings. I participated in some of these meetings to fully feel and understand what I was paying for, honestly. I joined mufon as a Stephen Greer fan myself so I was excited to use the opportunity to ask others of their thoughts about him and his films during one of these meetings. What I got was silence and if anything, a slight scoff. He was quickly dismissed and I was left with my own conclusion. This book is like most say- very interesting. I think both the author and Stephen Greer may have some things right but but all. My first instinctive question about this book was "how does he know this?" Right out of the gate, I'm assuming it's pure sci-fi but he does provide some backstory. Well, his work is comprised of others accounts. It can be unnerving when it comes to the malevolent species. If I had to pick a side drawn from my own conclusions- it would be MUFON over Dr. Greer because if there are malevolent species, you won't catch me in the open air shining lasers and telepathically calling the closest craft to come down and visit, blindly welcoming. Some close encounters and abductees are horrified by their experience and live through a lasting trauma. If you peruse the national ufo reporting center website, you will see reports of different crafts and behavior. One could interpret this as different levels of curiosity or.....various agendas. The universe is infinite as far as we know- beyond our humanly knowledge and capabilities. We haven't even fully explored our own galaxy. If we have the ability to be malevolent at times, what human can really say there's not another life form like us? Another life form that relies on food (other life forms) for energy? We all know what can happen when we get a little hungry. We all know the greed that can came from the demand and price of natural resources. Could other species scout the Earth just as we are racing for resources on the moon? There should be no limit to possibilities so I can only stay open minded. BOTTOM LINE- 100% would recommend as a read. It's different from the others when you want a refreshing change in format. No long stories so you can pick up anywhere- almanac style. A reference guide for alien races that can be quite entertaining!

An interesting and fun to read book for those who are into extraterrestrial species.
Format: Paperback
My reading interests have always been wide and varied. I love exploring scientific topics like physics, astronomy, cosmology and space travel; however, I am also curious about many other strange and unique subjects and after seeing this book (The Extraterrestrial Species Almanac: The ultimate guide to greys, reptilians, hybrids, and Nordics (MUFON) by Craig Campobasso) on Amazon I decided to purchase it. Even though I am scientific minded I have to admit to be fascinated when I started to read this tongue and cheek treatment of supposed creatures inhabiting our universe, which must be hiding from our scientists who are working for SETI. May be they should also read this book? In any case, I do like this book because it is a joy and a fun exploration of what extraterrestrials might look like. If you are interested in the unknown mysteries of outer space and what an alien race might look like, what their philosophy might be, and whether they are friendly to we earthlings or not, this book will provide that information as long as you keep in mind that it is a “tongue in cheek” evaluation. I also found the illustrations of our space brothers and sisters kind of interesting and unique. This volume is organized into 6 parts covering human extraterrestrial races, zeta humans, (greys and more), animal and insect races, notable hybrid races, reptilians, and other extraterrestrials. Rating: 5 Stars. Joseph J. Truncale (Author: Tactical Principles of the most effective Combative Systems).

Interesting
Format: Paperback
This was a very interesting read. I read it cover to cover in 2 days. It was fascinating. Many details within matched up to various interviews and stories I have heard. That being said, I did find it odd all the "human" like aliens appeared to be Caucasian. I realize most the descriptions included multi colored skin tones, but all the pictures appeared Caucasian. So the universe with multi dimensions has no diversity?? Also, why were the most malevolent beings the most terrifying in appearance? That seemed a bit odd. That they would just so happen to be the ones that also look the most scary? Also, I looked up some of the resources and such used and they were charging exorbitant amounts to hear about their contactee interviews or be apart of star seed ascension or whatever. It's just, if everything is to be believed, wouldn't they want everyone to experience the path to enlightenment? I mean we all have to earn a living, but $40 just to hear one session?? I scoffed at that. All that being said, I am very open minded and well, ready to ascend from this plant, like, yesterday.
