Built for both custom builders and OEMs, FishSkins grips offer a high-quality, all-weather alternative to traditional handle materials. Each grip features an ultra-lightweight EVA core bonded to a high-tack, moisture-resistant polymer outer layer. This construction delivers excellent durability, enhanced sensitivity, and a confident, non-slip grip, even in harsh fishing conditions. The result is superior feel in hand, allowing anglers to detect subtle bites and maintain control when it matters most.
The 5 inch rear grip features a .475 inch inner diameter and can be easily reamed to fit a wide range of custom rod builds. For casting rod applications, we recommend pairing it with the American Tackle GCRS reel seat in size 16 or 17, or the Fuji ECSM in size 16 or 17, for an ideal fit. When building a spinning rod, the integrated tenon can be easily removed, allowing the rear grip to mate seamlessly with a wide variety of spinning reel seats.
