They say:

More than an envelope filter.  The most versatile filter pedal on Earth just got better.

Once again we’ve knocked the world of filter pedals off its axis. Practically infinite filter options including warp LFOs, step control and random sample/hold. Autowah, envelope filter, step filter, random sample/hold filter, even a pixelated envelope filter. This one does it all.

An analog filter with digital control. We made sure to not build in any artificial limitations. The filter sweep goes above and below normal guitar frequencies, and works well with other instruments such as bass and synthesizers. Select between lowpass, bandpass and highpass filters, and virtually unlimited ways to manipulate them.

We took the mad science of the original Prometheus and multiplied it, adding features that not only increase the sonic possibilities, but also make it easier to use. The DLX is a re-imagined Prometheus that uses all the knowledge we gained from The Quasar DLX, and our experience making the most exciting filter pedals in the world. We also added some improvements. More resonance? Yep! Tap tempo? You got it! For even more headroom the DLX will operate at 18 volts. There’s even an internal switch to add a dry signal blend to the bandpass filter. (See, we love you bass players too!)

While the options are nearly infinite, we made sure to keep things simple enough so that the average guitar player could figure them out in a few minutes.

The Prometheus DLX has nine basic functions:

  • Analog envelope – forward and reverse.
  • Step – tap tempo step filter based on 7 LFO shapes.
  • Trigger LFO – tap to trigger one LFO cycle.
  • Manual LFO – Manually control LFO speed.
  • Warp LFO – tap tempo LFO speed with wave shape warp.
  • Pixilated Envelope – sample/hold envelope control.
  • Envelope Trigger – Envelope triggers LFO.
  • Envelope->LFO manual – Envelope drives LFO speed. Fixed sensitivity.
  • Envelope->LFO – Envelope drives LFO speed. Variable sensitivity.

In each of these settings, the WARP control and TAP/HOLD serve different purposes to get the most out of each effect.

The expression pedal input can be used with any non-envelope functions. Depending on the shape & mode settings the expression pedal has a different effect. For example, in trigger LFO mode the LFO shape is mapped to the expression pedal. Select the ramp wave for a “standard wah” effect. Choose the saw wave for a reverse wah. The triangle/square wave is especially strange.

Works as intended
I've been into emulators lately and this is a great HDMI out with charging capabilities to go with your high speed charging brick. Doesn't work for everything, but I can attest it works with the AYN Thor and a Google Pixel 8 Pro, and presumably higher end Pixels. Both have emulators and both come thru my TV just fine. Also works with Kodi. I tried to use wired controllers, but quickly figured I'm better off going Bluetooth on that route. I haven't tried file transfer or anything because all that mattered to me was getting it to the big screen. I'd rather have a docking stand for my needs, but freedom and flexibility isn't a bad thing for this device at a decent price and cheaper than a dock.

Versatile hub adds the ports my Mac lacks
This 7-in-1 USB C hub from Anker has made it easy to connect my laptop to all the devices I need. The HDMI port consistently outputs 4K video at 60Hz, while the USB 3.0 ports and SD/microSD slots transfer files quickly without errors. I appreciate that the pass-through charging allows me to power my MacBook while using the hub, and the unit itself feels solid and well made. It's truly plug-and-play, with no drivers to install, and it greatly expands the limited port selection on modern laptops. The only minor drawback is that the hub can get a little warm under heavy use, but overall it's a reliable, convenient accessory that I feel confident recommending.

Awesome USB-C Hub
My new MacBook Air has USB-C ports only, so I recently upgraded to this USB-C hub, a 7in1 Multi-Port USB-C Adapter, and it has completely solved all of my port needs. With the two USB-A ports, I can still use my old memory sticks, without replacing them, as well as two USB-C ports, all making moving files, movies and pictures, with ease. I needed something fast and reliability, and this little device delivers on both fronts. One of the USB-C ports it a power passthrough, which works great for charging device, like my MacBook Air. It is very easy to use, just plug and play, making it compatible with the MacBook Air. Also has a built in card reader, and a HDMI port, pretty much covering all your port needs. If you are looking for a well built, reliable, fast, and compact USB-C hub that can everything, this is the one to get. Highly recommended!

Good value and best of all - it works
This did the job I wanted it to. Expanded the ports when my laptop just ran out. No delay or ANY issue no matter what I plugged where and after a little figuring out where things went (not difficult) its performing very well. As far as value, its great. I always evaluate something by if I would purchase it again. Yes I would. if you need it, get it and set it up and move on with less worry about port capacity.

Good Multipurpose Hub, Some Limits on Power Draw
I use this with a Dell Latitude 7430 with a 65W charger, and it works fine as a docking hub. The only problem I've encountered is when rebooting, the boot will pause with a warning message to tell me that the laptop may encounter reduced performance because it isn't able to receive the full 65 watts. I don't get that warning if I'm not running the power supply through the hub. Otherwise, if I just use the hub as a port extender everything is fine. It has a compact design and is reasonably lightweight. It would be ideal for travel. Like my other Anker hubs, it's well constructed and doesn't feel cheap although it's good value for money.
