The VRS® DirectForce® Pro Wheel Base is extremely responsive, with imperceptible lag. The motor unit has minimal internal inertia and friction, and its construction only allows movement along the intended axis.

Unique controller algorithms ensure precise and uniform motion by measuring and compensating for any remaining friction or notchy feeling in the motor during the power-up phase.

The VRS® DirectForce® Pro Wheel Base includes the VRS DirectForce Pro controller, a custom-engineered all-in-one USB FFB motor controller. It has a compact 5x16x18cm enclosure and a built-in 400W Mean Well PSU. The wheelbase features a 20Nm MiGE motor with a 22-bit BISS-C encoder customized for the VRS DirectForce Pro controller.

Additionally, it comes with 3-meter motor power and encoder cables with double-shielding and quality metal connectors, a 2-meter double-shielded USB cable, and an AC power cord for the respective region.

MiGE motor

The VRS® DirectForce® Pro Wheel Base is powered by the MiGE 130ST-M10010 (“Small” MiGE) motor. This motor is extremely responsive, virtually eliminating any perceptible lag. With minimal internal inertia and friction, it was originally designed for more demanding applications than sim racing. Delivering precision, power (20Nm peak), and durability, this motor can be connected to various third-party steering wheel rims using our hub adapter. VRS® wheelbase controller

The MiGE motor is operated through the VRS® DirectForce® Pro Wheel Base controller, which is recognized as the system's central control unit. Housed within the compact steel enclosure is a specially designed all-in-one USB force feedback and motor controller board, combined with a 400W fanless PSU and brake resistor.

Furthermore, the controller algorithms are designed to detect and offset any inherent friction or irregular sensation in the motor during the initial power-up phase, ensuring that the MiGE motor provides an exact and consistent response across its entire range of motion.
