The Spelljammer is one of those wish fulfillment bikes. We made it simply because it's a bike we all wanted in our stables and because we could. We took a bit of inspiration from Jeff's beloved classic canti Space Horse, the versatility of the iconic Cross Check, and current developments in gravel, to create our own interpretation of a classic randonneuring bike.
What is a randonneuring bicycle? There are a number of nebulous definitions floating around the internet and here is our take, which was the guiding light for this project: It is a long distance machine. Meant to cover ground efficiently over a variety of road surfaces while carrying enough supplies to support the effort in all weather types.
Our interpretation is meant to be a modern take on the genre without being overly slavish to the historic form. Because of this it has some modern features like three pack mounts for choice in how you carry cargo, and a threadless headset, which we favor because of the ease of adjustment with just allen wrenches rather than having to carry a large headset wrench.
We wanted it to be of heirloom quality so it's got smooth filed fillets, just like we build in our Minneapolis workshop, but at less than half the price because they're built by a specialty brazing shop in Taiwan. We've been riding them since last Fall, and we've really come to be impressed by them and hope you will be too.
If it's a "modern take," why rim brakes?
All of our production bikes are tested to the most stringent ISO standards for their category. In order to pass testing, a disc brake bike requires thicker (heavier) fork legs and chainstays than a rim brake bike. By utilizing rim brakes we are able to use lighter tubes for a more compliant and smoother ride. Plus, we already have several worthy disc brake bikes in our lineup, and we do love the classic aesthetics of a good rim brake bicycle.

Why is this only a one-run bike?
On the island of Taiwan there is literally only one person left in the trade who does the kind of delicate filing required for these large fillets to look good. They are getting up there in age and are semi-retired at this point. They've also gotten really into farming and are now only working around their harvest / planting schedule. They've agreed to do one last batch, which is why we have to make this happen now and can't do it again.

Why is it $1600 for a rim brake frameset?
It's expensive because it's expensive to make. The amount of fine hand work involved in these things is ridiculous. In our own workshop, our frame builder, Brad, spends as much time filing fillets as he does in the actual frame construction. There's a reason big hand-filed fillets are a dying art form, because it's extremely labor intensive and thus expensive. If you see the value in it, cool. If you don't, no worries.
In addition to the labor intensive nature of the frame construction, the fork adds considerable cost to the bike. To match the character of the frame, we didn't want to use any old off-the-shelf crown. Instead we contacted Pacenti and sought permission to use their gorgeous PBP fork crown. In our minds it's THE rando fork crown. The crowns aren't cheap, but they are ideal for this application.
And heck, with with way things are going tariffs will probably make them even more expensive by the time they get here, but by pre-booking your price is locked in.
What's so special about that dropout?
That dropout is a direct result of this bike's lineage. The Space Horse canti-version has become a bit of a cult-icon. They are terrifically reasonable, great handling and smooth riding bikes. They're the bike that really launched All-City to a wider audience and were a huge milestone in Jeff's career in the bike industry. Our friend Anna Schwinn designed this dropout for that bike when they both worked at All-City.

Gorgeous. But it SHEDS

Soft and gorgeous. Not a fan of all the fluff that got all over everything when I finally managed to get all 250 of those stupid little plastic things cut off and got it off the hanger. Washing it will get rid of that but I had to vacuum the chair and carpet where I was sitting.

Soft, Cozy, and a Little Bit Extra — This Blanket Is Worth Every Dollar

I picked this up because I have a bit of a blanket problem. You know… the kind where you already own several, but somehow none of them are the one when you’re trying to get fully cozy on the couch. I wanted something oversized, soft, and honestly a little cute to throw over the back of my chair when I’m not using it.
This one checked all the boxes and then some.
The first thing I noticed was how insanely soft it is. Not just “this is nice,” but the kind of plush where you keep absentmindedly rubbing it while watching TV. It has that smooth, velvety feel without being heavy, so you don’t end up overheating five minutes later and kicking it off in frustration. It’s warm, but still breathable enough to use year-round.
Size-wise, it’s perfect. The 60x70 actually gives you enough blanket to fully wrap up without playing that constant game of “do I want my shoulders covered or my feet?” For once, both can be warm at the same time. Luxury.
I also really love the look of it. The black is nice and rich, and the cursive Juicy Couture script in pink and white gives it just enough personality without feeling loud. It has that cozy-but-put-together vibe, like it belongs in a room that has its life together even if I don’t.
Another big plus for me—no shedding. I’ve had plush blankets before that leave little fuzz everywhere like they’re slowly disintegrating. This one has held up really well so far, even after use, and still looks clean and put together.
For around $28, this honestly feels like one of those “why is this so good for the price?” kind of finds. It doesn’t feel cheap, and it definitely doesn’t look cheap.
If I had to find anything to mention, it’s lightweight, so if you’re someone who wants a super heavy, weighted-feeling blanket, this isn’t that. But for everyday use, lounging, or layering, I actually prefer it this way.
Overall, this has become my go-to blanket without even trying. It’s soft, it’s cute, it does its job perfectly—and somehow made my couch feel like a better place to exist.

The best throw blanket we own.

I cannot tell you how soft this is. It is so soft and nice and warm. I live in a part of the country that gets some really cold we get snow until like the beginning or middle of May and this was perfect. I curled up with it the other night and it was so warm and so comfy. Both of my children have special needs and my daughter really loves blankets so I got this blanket for her when I saw the chance to pick it up I was so happy and she loves it. She slept with it the other night and usually she'll rotate between blankets I have a lot of comforters and stuff I review a lot of comforters and blankets because that's what our family uses so I have a really good sense of you know buying blankets and getting blankets and knowing what works for us and what doesn't. This is really nice. If your children or family members or even you love warm soft luxurious blankets this is going to be the one for you. It is such a pretty color it's black but it's got like a different shades of pink and it's got white on it it is just so nice and the lettering is really crisp it's not like on there like it's not ironed on there like some of the places they iron stuff on or like you could tell that it's really cheap this isn't cheap it's like really really nicely done I just can't say how much I love it and the seams are double sown it looks like it's sown and then someone over so like it's really really not ever going to come apart it is just so nice

Super soft and cozy plush throw blanket by Juicy Couture. Super cozy! ✨️

I love Juicy Couture products, and so I ordered this Juicy Couture Oversized Plush Throw Blanket. It measures 60" x 70", and has the Script Wave Black design. I have a couple of other Juicy Couture blankets that I absolutely love, and this one is no different.
I love the look of this blanket, as it's chic and stylish; I like the black background color, with the logo words in cursive (and in different colors). The contrast of the logo words/design looks nice juxtaposed to the background.
This blanket was presented very nicely, which would make for an excellent gift idea. This blanket feels super soft, and is great for various spaces. It's versatile nature makes it great for using on the couch, chairs, or on one's bed.
This blanket has a decent thickness to it; I feel cozy and warm when wrapped up in this blanket. I'm about 5'4", so this blanket can wrap around me nicely. It did have some shedding at first; there were these tiny little fluffy dots that I initially saw while opening the blanket for the first time. However, they seem to have stopped after I washed the blanket.
Also, this blanket does seem easy to care for; I just tossed it in my regular washer, and then dried it in my dryer. It still feels velvety soft and smooth. So, I'd say it's easy to keep clean, at least in my experience thus far.
I really like this blanket, and it adds a touch of coziness and style to my living spaces. This blanket looks really nice draped over a couch, chair, or across a bed. I love how nice of quality this Juicy Couture blanket is, and am glad I ordered it.

Soft + Stunning!!!

I was immediately drawn to this blanket as a fan of the brand and for its unique, vintage lace design. And it doesn't disappoint!
It looks just like the product photos and is really high quality and well made. The presentation from the start is stunning. It comes on a wooden hanger and is secured with a bow. And the blanket itself is amazing! The fabric is super thick, plush, and heavy. And it's on the large side compared to some of my other throws, so it's extremely cozy and comfortable. The contrast of the black and white is beautifully striking too, and the details are so dainty and crisp.
I haven't noticed any shedding and its washability seems promising, but I'll update if I run into any problems in the future.
Overall, I'm obsessed! It's gorgeous, functional, and a great value! Highly recommend!
