Will bloom when mature at 10 15 years old from a single central stalk that grows 10 20' tall with a spike of yellow flowers at the tip. Plant in well draining soil. Thrives in full sun to part shade. May grow slower in too much shade. Drought tolerant once

Plant in well-draining soil. Thrives in full sun to part shade. May grow slower in too much shade. Drought tolerant once established, but does best with periodic water in extreme heat. The mother plant will decline after flowering, but younger rosettes 'pups' will perpetuate the plant.
