Powerful Non-Selective Herbicide for Effective Weed Management
Magana Power is a potent post-emergence, non-selective herbicide formulated with Glufosinate Ammonium 13.5% SL. It effectively targets and controls a broad spectrum of annual and perennial weeds in cotton and tea plantations, promoting healthier crop growth.
Mode of Action:
Magana Power inhibits glutamine synthetase (Herbicide Site of Action Group 10), disrupting ammonium metabolism in weeds. This causes the accumulation of phytotoxic ammonia, leading to rapid cell membrane damage and effective weed elimination.
Key Benefits:
✅ Eliminates Tough Weeds – Effectively controls Cynodon dactylon, Cyperus rotundus, and Imperata cylindrica
✅ Post-Emergence Control – Works best on actively growing weeds
✅ Applicator Safety – Low toxicity when used with recommended precautions
✅ Minimal Spray Drift – Reduces the risk of crop damage
✅ Soil-Safe – Does not persist in soil, ensuring safety for future crops
Recommended Usage:
| Crop | Target Weeds | Dosage per Acre (AI gm) | Formulation (ml) | Water Dilution (L) | Waiting Period (Days) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Cotton | Echinochloa sp., Cynodon dactylon, Cyperus rotundus, Digitaria marginata, Dactylocteneum aegyptium | 150-180 | 1000ml - 1200ml | 200 | 96 |
