The Orange Daylily is the workhorse of the Southern summer garden. Tough as old boots, comes back bigger every year, and asks for almost nothing in return. Plant them now and they'll spend the summer building strong roots for a knockout next season. Daylilies are remarkably drought-tolerant — we didn't fuss over watering when we put ours in the ground, just gave them enough to settle and let nature do the rest. Once established, they shrug off heat, neglect, and lean soil with the same easy grace. Pair them with summer-blooming bulbs like crinums or rain lilies, and you've got a low-maintenance bed that earns its keep from June through fall.

Planting: Give them full sun for the best bloom — 6 or more hours, though in zones 8 and 9 they'll happily take a little afternoon shade — and just about any soil will do. They handle clay better than most bulbs and shrug off the hot, neglected spots where fussier plants give up. that makes them ideal for slopes (the fibrous tuberous roots hold soil and offer solid erosion control), mailbox beds, driveway edges, foundation plantings, and that brutal strip along a fence line.

They also mix beautifully into perennial borders, where the arching strappy foliage keeps things looking tidy even when nothing's blooming. They clump up over the years, so space them about 18–24 inches apart, and deadhead spent blooms if you like a neat look — it's purely cosmetic and won't affect the plant one bit.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Easy to use and produces vibrant prints
This Hiipoo sublimation ink has been a fantastic upgrade for my EcoTank printer. The autofill bottles fit perfectly into the ink tanks - no syringes, no mess, and no wasted ink. Refilling is quick and hassle-free, which makes the whole process so much easier. The print quality is excellent. Colors come out bright, vivid, and crisp with great saturation and no fading. It transfers beautifully onto mugs, T-shirts, and tumblers, drying fast without smudges. I really appreciate that it works ICC-free, yet still delivers professional results. The ink is certified and feels reliable, and I’ve had zero clogging issues. Overall, this is a high-quality, easy-to-use sublimation ink that’s perfect for both hobby projects and small business use. Definitely recommend for anyone doing heat transfer printing.

Only Sublimation Ink for Me!!
I recently bought my second set of Hippo Sublimation Ink and continue to be thrilled with the results. This ink has proven to be a fantastic choice for my sublimation projects, delivering on all fronts. Hippo Sublimation Ink works exactly as promised. It sublimates effortlessly onto poly blend items, producing bright, vivid transfers every time. The colors are striking and true to the design, which is crucial for quality sublimation work. The results are consistently impressive, making this ink a reliable option for any project. One of the standout features is the great price. Hippo Sublimation Ink offers excellent value for money compared to other brands. Despite its affordability, it performs just as well—if not better—than more expensive options on the market. Using Hippo Ink in my Epson printer has been a breeze. The ink flows smoothly and doesn’t clog the printer, even after not being used for two weeks!!! I’ve had issues with other brands clogging my printer, leading to frustration and wasted time, not to mention all the maintenance puts wear and tear on the printer. With Hippo, there’s been no such problem, making it a hassle-free choice for sublimation printing. Hippo Sublimation Ink has exceeded my expectations in terms of performance, price, and ease of use. It’s the only ink I will use in my printer from now on. If you’re looking for a high-quality sublimation ink that’s both affordable and reliable, Hippo is an excellent choice. It delivers bright, beautiful transfers and maintains smooth operation without any of the typical issues associated with other brands. Highly recommended!
