Epiphyllum anguliger, also known as Ric Rac Cactus, is a tropical cactus species with unusual, zigzag-edged stems and a relaxed, trailing growth habit. Native to the rainforests of Mexico, it grows as an epiphyte in the wild, anchoring itself onto trees rather than rooting in the ground. Its flattened, deeply lobed stems grow in a casual, arching way, making it well suited for hanging baskets or shelves where the stems can drape naturally. Although it belongs to the cactus family, it prefers filtered light and slightly more moisture compared to typical desert cacti.
The stems are bright green, thin, and slightly leathery, often curving or undulating at the edges. Individual segments range from 6 to 12 inches long, and mature plants can trail several feet over time. When mature and given proper care, Epiphyllum anguliger may produce large, creamy-white flowers with a sweet fragrance, usually blooming at night in late summer or early fall. The blooms are short-lived but striking, offering a seasonal highlight during the plant’s active growth period.
Epiphyllum anguliger thrives in environments that replicate the dappled light and moderate humidity of a tropical forest canopy. Its growth style is similar to other rainforest cacti like Rhipsalis and Schlumbergera, but the distinct zigzag shape of its stems makes it easily recognizable. It adapts well to indoor cultivation when provided with indirect light, a well-aerated soil mix, and moderate watering practices. The plant’s unusual stem shape and gently cascading form make it a popular choice for adding texture and movement to indoor plant collections. This plant's abundant greenery can help create a fresh, natural atmosphere indoors without demanding high maintenance. This plant’s growth is steady but not aggressive, making it manageable even in smaller indoor garden.
-
Prefers bright, indirect light or light filtered through a sheer curtain. Avoid harsh direct sunlight, which can scorch the stems.
Water when the top inch of soil feels dry, keeping the soil lightly moist during the active growing season. In winter, allow the soil to dry more thoroughly between waterings.
Requires a well-draining, loose soil mix, such as cactus soil blended with orchid bark or perlite. Good drainage helps mimic its natural epiphytic environment.
Best growth occurs between 65–80°F . Should be protected from temperatures below 50°F. Prefers moderate to high humidity. Occasional misting or using a humidity tray can benefit the plant in dry indoor conditions.

Westie LOVES this toy
Color: U.S.A, Size: Medium
My pup (Westie) adores this toy. This is actually our second one. The ball itself is resistant but the straps will be obliterated. Would definitely recommend! Totally worth the price!

Not durable
Color: Black/White, Size: Large
If you have a dog who likes to pop things then this toy isn't it. Within 5 min she had this ball popped. It was made to sound like it was durable for this type of thing but it definitely is not so just be aware. Now if you have a dog who doesn't pop things easy then this would be a good toy

WHAT I LEARNED
Color: U.S.A, Size: Medium
i AM NOT SURE THAT 4 STARS IS A FAIR SCORE, MY DOG IS AN AGGRESSIVE CHEWER, NEEDLESS TO SAY WITHIN 2 DAYS ALL THE TABS WERE OFF, BUT THERE WERE NUBS LEFT AND SHE CAN USE THAT. HERE IS A WHAT NOT TO DO, BRING IT TO THE DOG PARK, THEY ALL HAVE A BLAST BUT IF YOUR A BULLY/PIT MIX AND DECIDE TO SINK THEIR TEETH INTO IT, IT DOES DEFLAT. LESSONS LEARNED STILL A FUN TOY.
