What’s in my Thali Today

May 23, 2021 by Virti Patel Leave a Comment

A special sunday binge, this mango season Keri no ras ane puri (Mango Pulp with Puri) , an all time must eat in most Gujarati households, with a side platter of moong bean sprout idada, bataka ni suki bhaji, choli nu sak, fried vadi, mint-coriander ni chutney. The perfect combination of nutrition and taste to kick start a new day.

Also considering the idea of a healthy, nutritious yet yummy meal, a switch from white idada to moong bean sprout idada fills up the delicious plate and stomachs.

Today in my Thali :

  • Keri no ras (mango ras)
  • Puri (multi grain puri)
  • Idada (moong bean sprouts idada)
  • Bataka ni sukhi bhaji (dry potato)
  • Choli nu sak (yardlong beans)
  • Chutney (coriander & mint chutney)
  • Fried vadi
